New members are always welcome. Currently beginners train twice per week. The first few months of training are usually done with very light weights to ensure lifters learn the correct technique. In weightlifting technique is paramount. Some general strength training is also done as well as flexibility exercises.
The competition lifts are a great way to improve and maintain flexibility. Beginner classes are currently held in House 19 adjacent to DCU Sports Centre. All classes are taken by Weightlifting Ireland certified coaches. If you are interested in learning more come along and speak to one of our coaches or contact us.
